The 34th Annual CSD Pool Membership Meeting was held on September 15th at the SDA Annual Conference. This year’s meeting was held in person for the first time since 2019 and also included a livestream option for attendees that registered with SDA.

The meeting began with Board President Larry Moore’s opening statement that focused around the theme of “Stronger Together”. Moore discussed the commitment and dedication seen by special districts throughout the pandemic. He also recognized Evergreen Metropolitan District as the 2021 Safest District of the Year.

For this year’s keynote address, Dave Chatfield, Vice President and COO for NetDiligence, was joined by Barbara Biggs, District Manager for Roxborough Water and Sanitation, for “Living through the Pain of a Real Ransomware Incident.” This address chronicled the cyberattack that affected Roxborough Water and Sanitation in 2020.

During the meeting, the CSD Pool administration provided members with a mid-year review and market update, an overview of current and upcoming loss prevention services, an update on member communications, as well as an in depth look at what to expect for 2022 renewals.

At the conclusion of the meeting, prize drawings were held that included a fitness tracker, Amazon Fire tablet, roadside emergency kits, a first aid kit, backup cameras, and Hydro Flask water bottles.
